Paul Salvador
Board Member
Paul Salvador (he/him) is the Executive Director of The OUT Foundation, where he leads their mission in creating welcoming, affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ people in fitness, health, and wellness. The organization celebrates and uplifts queer and trans bodies and minds, helping the community feel strong, seen, and supported. Paul brings 15 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, with a focus on fundraising, strategy, and stakeholder engagement to his role on the Board of Directors at ORAM. His deep connection to ORAM’s mission is shaped by his years working with LGBTQ+ and HIV-positive immigrants and asylum-seekers at Immigration Equality, as well as by the people in his life who live at the intersection of being queer or trans and of immigrant experience. Throughout his career, Paul has led development and organizational efforts at mission-driven nonprofits advancing LGBTQ+ rights, immigrant justice, racial equity, sustainable agriculture, and civic engagement. He also serves on the Board of Directors at the Fabulous Arts Foundation in Sarasota, Florida, a local nonprofit that advances LGBTQ+ visibility through arts and culture. The organization creates inclusive spaces for expression, connection, and community building, and plays a vital role in celebrating queer creativity across Florida’s Suncoast region. Paul earned his B.A. in History from Stony Brook University. Outside of work and activism, you can find him soaking up the sun by the pool, perusing his local farmers market, or running with the local LGBTQ+ runners club he founded. He and his spouse share a love for exploration and discovering queer-owned cafés, restaurants, and bookstores in small towns and big cities across the country. They currently reside in Sarasota, Florida.
