CAREF promote the human rights of migrants, refugees and asylum seekers through the construction of practices and norms that favor their integration in conditions of justice and equality. They provide free professional advice, guidance, social and legal assistance services; training workshops on issues related to the exercise of rights for relevant social actors and for the migrants themselves; and at the same time we promote actions that allow the definition of State policies that tend to guarantee these rights.
Misión
As an organization of Churches, CAREF defines its institutional policy based on the guidelines that they provide inspired by the ecclesiastical mandate to be “churches of the poor, of the excluded, of foreign foreigners”, based on the biblical text “As a natural of you you shall have the stranger who dwells among you, and you shall love him as yourself, because you were a stranger in the land of Egypt ”(Leviticus 19:34)
