In our service centre, in Lisbon, we provide support to around 1300 people per year who need help with their social, legal and socio-professional issues. On average, the JRS receives 40 people per day looking for social support, psychological support, medical and medication support, legal support and job integration and training support.
Misión
The Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS) is an international Catholic non-governmental organization, founded in 1980 by the Society of Jesus. The mission of JRS is to accompany, serve and advocate the cause of refugees and forcibly displaced persons worldwide. JRS is present in about 50 countries, serving and accompanying about 500 000 migrants every year.
