Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre

WAGEC provides crisis housing to women impacted by homelessness, domestic violence and social disadvantage – no matter visa or LGBT status. They also build on the existing strength and resilience of clients through the provision of therapeutic and practical support, financial independence through training and education opportunities and targeted support for children and young people to break the cycle of violence, intergenerational trauma and social disadvantage.
